At Studio Umbra enthusiasm meets prototyping and architectural models. We serve architects, artists, designers, and property developers. We are collaborating closely with our clients and tailor our solutions to meet their unique needs.

How do we do it?
In our practice we combine the speed and repeatability of the latest technologies with the personal aspect of the human touch. Our wide toolset includes digital modeling, various 3D printing methods, cnc milling, laser cutting, engraving, painting, texturing and much more. All these processes are taken care of in-house for higher effectiveness and lover cost of production.
Workflow:
1. consulting the clients desire and collecting all the available documentation
2. digital 3D modelling and preparing parts for manufacturing
3. building, assembling and painting the scale model
4. photographing and documenting the finished work
5. packaging and transporting the model to your desired location

We are a young creative studio based in Brno, Czech republic. Our passion for architecture, art and design fuels everything we do, driving us to constantly elevate our craft.
Our practise is based on the cumulated knowledge of several generations of woodworkers, craftsmans and ship model makers.
